Lol!!! Explaining the hobby to "normal" people is always fun as well, it really makes you feel like a fucking weirdo, not that I care.

I was having similar thoughts as I was grinding away on on a rusty crossmember for 20mins on my cut in half, dented up rust pile of a truck, in a rush so I can go beat it against trees and rocks in an Appalachian hollar. It was a reminder just how much stupidity my(our) wives or significant others put up with.

Then again we are doing cool shit like melting metal together with electricity, not getting butt hurt because we are missing a fantasy football draft or other dumb shit like that.

It took me way too long to realize that you didn't sand the one entire step off and that you shortened the one tube past the step. :anonymous:

Finally got this swivel thermostat housing

Final battery location. A tire just clears. Had to go w a different battery tray from same company. Even nicer than the other.

Yeah, have the whole kit. dual batt, dual compressors, charger, monitor, etc. Gonna mount the charging setup but prob wont wire it for a month or so. Getting truck running is first priority at this point.

Yeah, they run 40 amps as a pair. My alternator is 145 amp so should be good. They will only cycle hard with air up of tires. Will have a 2 gallon tank to help out.

Ya that checks out. My ARB dual pulls 28 and does 6 cfm. What's the combined air output on those?

Not as good as arb but they were kinda cheap. I think $297. $339 plus tax on Amazon actually.

These feels... I know them. My Son's daycare was in session and I had off so I was looking forward to a solid 8 hours in the garage. Till he got a fever over the weekend and couldn't go in Monday. I was disappointed to say the least considering I haven't had a solid 8 hours of shop time since before he was born.

Intercooler piping is usable. Have to make a few welds but the bands will work for now. Everything fit ok. 10x easier than the exhaust.
