I could prob cut it down about 1.5-1.75" before it hits the filter. (1.904 to be exact. Thats actually a lot and would work) I was looking at it earlier after I spent an hr moving fuel lines around and shit, trying to get in the right spot.

Summit sells the only one that seems like a better option but no filter, so would have to add an inline filter and wait til next week to get I assume. Kinda frustrating especially now that it is not drivable at this point.

What about moving your coolant overflow bottle to the opposite side (red line) and then move the PSC resi to where the coolant overflow is now (green)?

I'm sure there is... but I like my PSC because of the built in filtration option vs an in-line filter. The reservoir is larger too, which holds more capacity = cooler oil temp, especially with a cooler option.

The space is good up there but to have pitch on line the res would be half way out of hood. Only place I can get both is over manifolds. Im gonna just cut it I think. Kind of the easiest solution and I do have a cooler so more volume to make it up with.

This gives you a better idea of how it can possible fit in the one place over manifold w the coils gone.

The 1st pic is in front and matches second pic
3rd pic is over manifold and matches 4th pic only it fell over. Still like an inch too high to close hood w out coils out.

So basically if you cut the res shorter you will not need to remote mount the coils?

Damn that's tight, especially how high up the PS pump is on the LS. If only the PSC resi was horizontal vs vertical.
    Going to take some creativity...

I cut 1.5 off it but it looks like I could do another inch. I can make it work now and the 2 pieces are super tight so should be easy to weld. Gonna do that tomorrow once I do a little more fitment.

Thanks @betterbuckleup for the persuasion. Thought about it but was scared. Turned out to not be that big a deal. Spent like an hour getting the band saw dialed in and the fit up is money.

It fits next to master cylinder now as well. Just gonna go with the coolest place prob.

I just welded it. Prob shoulda spent some more time practicing. I fucking hate how I weld al. Its terrible, especially when you have robot tigs on both sides of it. I gotta spend some more time than an item here and there.

Its just frustrating cause I have all the right shit and still have major issues with heat. Foot pedal is like on or off basically and I can't make up for it on speed when it gets hot. Then I let off just a little and the puddle stops and I end up going slow and it gets too hot and the whole time im watching puddle instead of line and feed. Fuck!

Prob gonna had to grind it anyway to get bracket up to the top. I just wanna tig 1 thing in al that im actually like, yeah, that works.

Your standards are a lot higher than mine. Tig with aluminum is hard as fuck. That's definitely good enough for me in my book

This. Is it sealed? Does it fit now? That's what matters. Looks good from my house!

Need to make some better brackets but wasn't in the mood to fabricate shit. It is hooked up and quiet for the first time.

This is how I feel with any project. Nothing ever goes to plan. Just swapped out my spindles with gusseted ones and ended up having to blow money on new CVs because one was seized in the damn hub. Simple jobs always turn into 2 day expensive projects.
