You get used to them after a little while, it was a big change though from my '07 with the orange gauges. I have them dimmed down pretty low because they can take away from your night vision, they do look cool though IMO.

Cupholders are awesome too, rubber so there's no plastic rattle going on with change or whatever. Fit's most bottles just fine too seeing as how they're not adjustable like the old style. My GNC shaker bottle is pretty big and it fits great.

I've got an '11 TX Pro, and it doesn't have those gauges. Build date is Sep 2010.

My 2011 does not have those and i'm glad. Seems way to busy and out of place for me. Like Corey Hart said, you better wear your sunglasses at night with those it may seem.

Does that make the 2011's with the original dark, blacked out cluster a more valuable limited edition? :) . New grill and dark cluster.

They do get pretty bright, when I drive my girlfriends camry I dim them waaay down at night. I like my gauges just bright enough that's they went hard to see but not bright enough to distract me

I like it. It does look a little bright but My mothers BMW gauges are brighter than that and they dont bother me when I "borrow" the car. I like it.

They actually don't look that bad. I kinda like it. Is the rest of the dash lighting amber/orange? Or did they mactch it to the new gauge.

If you read through, you'll notice some people with new '11s say they don't have this new cluster, and some do.

Toyota changed the clusted in December 2010. The '11s built before this don't have them, while the ones built after, do.

Very similar to the FJ design. The thing with the FJ is that there are not separate LEDs for the needles and faces like the original tacoma gauges. So, the only way to change the color of the needles is with colored paint, but its not quite as vibrant and bright as the original tacoma gauges.

i like the white at night opposed to the red. My dad has an '04 Access and he wants my gauges in his truck.

Since we're on the subject of gauge cluster which is part of the dash. Another TRD TX is saw with something they call the GREY WOOD DASH. I don't see many member on here with it so just another unusual thing I saw with the TX tacoma. Here's a pic:
