ujoint replacement question

    OSR is outer snap ring it’s how the cap is held in the yoke. As far as the SPL it is the spicer life series joint which is a higher end one compared to their 10 series.

    6" lift, 20 " inch rims, 34" tires, billet grill, aftermarket fender flares, custom rear bumper, DVd player with backup camera, all LED lights
    So if the OSR is the outer snap ring then how is the SPL held on?

    you will want to make sure you get the correct SPL series with the outer snap ring. They may have the same series with inner which wouldn’t fit the Toyota yokes.

    Sorry 6 gear i do not understand what you are saying?
    Apologies for my ignorance on this topic but i have never had to replace the u joints on the tacoma before

    then U need to go somewhere else than rock auto

    cheap is not always the right way to go

    im sure someone in Ur area deals with Spicer parts as Spicer makes OEM parts under contract to most Everybody

    yes what is said below. The yoke for Toyota trucks that we gave utilize the outer snap ring, not inner.
