:p I did the same thing. lol

Thinking about it, are you able to take the handle off and use one of those pot grabbers? That would work best I think. I ended up doing that to my MSR Whisperlite stove. Just have to make sure you get a good grip on the pan with the holder.

    I'm baaack....:)

The trip was great, weather was great, all around a good time...just not enough of it! I REALLY could have stayed another night. There's just this pesky thing called a 'job' that I'm expected to show up for tomorrow...:(

Here's a couple of shots from the trip, I'll have more soon!

Thanks guys...the mountains in that particular area are like nothing else around here! I haven't spent a lot of time up there in the past so this weekend was all about exploring and figuring out where to go next year - the road closes in 2 weeks and won't reopen until late June or early July due to snowpack. Now I'm a little more familiar with the surrounding area so I can plan the next trip a little better.

Yeah... :pout: I have to figure out how to make money camping and such...that would be the life!

And in another story...I think I may be in the market for new hiking boots soon. My Merrell's, which I love, are starting to hurt my feet a little. :(
I've been looking at some Keen boots - any thoughts/opinions from anyone? I've never had a pair od Keen's beofre. I have really high arches in my feet so good fitting shoes are hard to find sometimes.

let me know when you figure this out! I want to make money camping also.

My dad's friend has a pair of keens. He isn't happy with them at all. For all the money he spent on them, after about a year (only wore them hiking) and only 10 hikes or so, the sole started to separate from the upper part of the boot.

I had a hell of a time finding shoes that fit my feet. Tried about 4 pairs, i finnaly spend the $$$ and got a pair of lowa's, absolutly love them. One of the few places that makes boots in odd sizes.
