I had some under armor cold gear pants with two pairs of wool sock over the top of them. The cuff on the pants is tight as it is and the socks put it over the top. The bag is rated down to zero and I've pushed that limit without incidence before. I think I just over did it this time. lol

New stove (propane stove, griddle and grill all in one)

And a new light (recharges in the car) and new pot handle (my cookset came with a plastic handle )

that will do it! I am not a fan of under armor because of that reason. If the cuff or seams roll up just right, which they always tend to do, they end up cutting circulation off.

Soooo my girlfriend and I were planning to hit the smokies the last weekend of October...we haven't decided whether to backpack or just tent camp. Main thing holding us back from backpacking is that I just started a new diet (SCD diet) and it's really restrictive, so it would be hard to pack accordingly. Either way we would have fun, last time we went I did some fly fishing and we both went on a few day hikes. Thoughts?

I dunno. I emailed him offering $50... it would cost me around $30 to drive. He's been posting it for a while now.

Anyone got some real cheap solutions to truck tents? Maybe like, tarp tents? Why the hell are truck tents so damn expensive?
