I'm hoping to get some opinions with this question.
I'm looking into buying a camp stove, preferrably a Coleman unit. I've shopped around a bit and see that there are a couple different types. Primarily, the main differences I see are the propane units and the fuel tank type stoves. Some of the fuel tank units I've seen are labelled "dual fuel" where you can use unleaded gas. These are about twice the price of the propane units, however, they appear to be made in the US and last forever.
What do you own, what have you used, and what do you prefer?
I appreciate any input as I know many of you are avid campers.
    Thank you...

I've always used the basic two burner Colemans and never had an issue. Actually got two, and when my buddies and I camp, we get about six burners going to make morning omeletts. They hold up well, never had an issue.

My stepfather grabbed one of those Volcano Collapsible stoves, and those are awesome too but $$$. Want one though.

So since i couldnt go to the Moab meet because i need to have access to internet to work on school, i decided to take a trip for the week to pigeon forge. Did some hiking along the roaring fork motor loop in Gatlinburg. Beautiful area. I will post some pics when im on a computer. I am also going to post an update on my Merrell Moab Mid w/o gortex boots.....

Not impressed. While they are comfy as all hell and the break in period was null, i only have about 30 miles on them and the tread is already showing significant signs of wear. I hike on mostly dirt and smooth rock. I would expect with so few miles i wouldnt see the wear i am seeing.

Stay tuned for pics of my hiking adventure!

I saw that. something to do with that awful grown up word spelled JOB wasn't it? Have fun camping! I am seeing all those pics of Moab coming out and wishing I didn't have to rely on internet to do my school work. Definitely bummed I didn't get to go.

Its tick season...I've picked 3 of those little bastards off of me today. Right now I contemplating if my truck can be saved or if it should be burned.

I don't know...I think I'd look pretty silly hiking around with one of those on a leash...

It's one of my wife's and my favorite songs to play on our way to...or back from...camping trips.
