This might not be the right thread for this, but I just got my new Suncloud Sentry sunglasses in...

Suncloud is owned by Smith...They were $49.99 shipped to my door. So far I love them. I got them for this summer, as I'll be a rafting guide, and I don't want to lose my nice pair of sunglasses on the river.

If you want some new sunglasses, check out Sunclouds. Limited Lifetime warranty too.

Had you thought about contacting your preferred glasses company to see if they offered any sort of discount for folks in your profession?

I had not, probably should've asked. They are Costa Del Mar's- more fishing oriented. But honestly I wanted a pair of back ups too. I used a little birthday money for these ;)

I believe they are on the N. fork, must be released. Same with bull trout, but as far as I know there are no bull trout in the N. fork or the M. fork. I'll be targeting Bull trout in a few backcountry lakes up in GNP.

Bull trout are protected from fishing except for the South Fork of the Flathead I believe.
    Cutthroats are all good

Edit: Don't know about harvesting...I release everything

    Pack raft by alpacka?
I'm debating on getting a couple for the truck. Could be fun for expeditions. Used to guide with them up here. AMAZINGLY rugged. I've seen a field repair of one that was shredded by a brown bear that made it down a class 5 same day.

Yes I have a couple of decked Alpacka packrafts. I've ran class IV in my packrafts and they performed flawlessly. Also done many a backcountry packrafting trips on many different rivers and creeks. They are amazingly lightweight, very versatile, and very fun to paddle on still water or white water.

This July I'll be paddling them on many lakes in GNP as well as the N. and M. forks of the Flathead, the Blackfoot and N. Fork of the Blackfoot, the Clarks Fork, Landers Fork, and a lazy float on the Missouri :D

Nice! Good to see them doing well in other states. I always liked that they were designed here in AK.

Alpacka raft co. was started in Alaska and they have since moved their business to Colorado years ago.

    Yeah, that's what I said :p

If I remember right it was in chugiak they started up. They still have shops up here. Its the perfect idea for someone who wants ultralight gear at no expense of strength or durability.

Nice looking hike! I think that sometimes, the mileage on trail signs is wrong. I'd trust the GPS coordinates over the trail signs-especially if the signs have been around for a while.
