    Just the basics
After several trips and broken eggs, in various containers, I decided to take eggbeaters. So much easier

That looks like Phelps Lake in the Tetons. I was up there three weeks ago. We hiked around the lake and jumped up a bear back by Death Canyon trail head.

Yellowstone is beautiful too, definitely a must see.

I think it was one spot that I fell off a rock and everything in the bed of the truck, including the cooler, jumped like a foot in the air and back down

    hmmm...interesting thought

Yep, its Phelps. Did you do any other hiking down there? Lots of great trails in the Tetons

We hiked around String Lake and up into Paintbrush Canyon too. Most of our time was in Yellowstone, we only had a couple of day in the Tetons. I'd like to go back and spend more time in there.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
    Chili mac FTW.

I always make sure to bring a bunch of the Mountain House "Granola with Milk & Blueberries". The Stroganoff for dinner always wins out.

But man, after a few days of eating these and I make sure I am not the last in the hiking line - no need for any bug repellent. Also have to give some props to the golden shits! Something about those pouches makes the poo turn a light yellow, cracks me up everytime.

You definitely want to come. The Eastern side of the Sierra is pretty nice. The White Mountains are just a few miles away and have some of the oldest Bristlecone Pines the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest.

    YES
    YES

Chicken Teriyaki and rice is damn good too. That gives you 3 of each for a 9-day backpack...:)

The lasagne was a mess, I'd prefer the Chili Mac.

Hell yes. We work outr way up or down the east side between Conway Summit and Bishop depending on the timing, weather, and elevation for best fall colors on this kind of trip.

McGee, Convict, Lundy (near Mono), Parker, and we always hit Silver Lake Lodge campground on the June Lake Loop and get a killer omelette at the lodge. Damn, I'm getting pumped up now...:)
