Thanks guys I'll look into the Rubbermaid boxes, I also had a suggestion from a friend to look into getting a Stanley tough box. I might get one of each to see which is better

:goingcrazy: too much...that would be like a month long trip!
I think what I need to to is just pick one or two parks to focus on for the first trip then once I have my bearings I can do other trips that include all of the parks. I'm just so afraid that I'll miss something amazing just because I have reservations at the next park and can't stay
:puke: I iz a-scared of heights... I'll keep me feet on the ground thank you.

I find after driving on a dusty road for a length of time, the rubbermaid ruffnecks can accumulate dust.
I have a large one and a small one. No complaints though.

No doubt. I've been to Bryce & Zion three times. The GC, twice. I feel like I could live there and never see it all. I've been to Yosemite a gazillion times-same deal ;)

I haven't yet, not many places around here other then lakes. I've always wanted to but I have 3 dogs so it wouldn't be easy, they do fine in the canoe but with gear it would mean multiple trips.

It is, this was my first trip, and I'm already planning the next
Yeah 3 dogs plus gear would make for a tippy canoe I'd bet

That's awesome, I really want to see the glow in the dark algae, there is a lagoon close by that is supposed to have some, but I haven't made it out there yet.

    Nice pics!

How do you like the ruger? I have yet to shoot one, at least the 1911, I've owned a few, only one I didn't like was the p345.

Was planning on going to Bear Canyon Lake but all the roads were closed due to rain, so we settled for willow springs lake.

    Thanks!

That's weird About the rust, stainless can rust if cross contaminated with steel. It happened to an aftermarket bbl I put on my 10/22. I haven't heard much about the rugger 1911 since it came out around the time I stopped frequenting gun forums, too much bs lol, and not enough money to shoot even with reloading since the process skyrocketed.
