Alright fellow Taco dads. I'm sure we're all set on plaid pajama pants, wool socks, shop towels and grill tongs. What do you REALLY want for Christmas from your partner, kids, family? Seriously, the #1 thing on my list is a gate to block people from turning around in my driveway at night.

Our 10-year anniversary is 12/23 and I am planning a 3-day getaway. Considering an in-town staycation spa at a downtown hotel, miles from the kids, or driving an hour away to a quite, posh, 1870's historic hotel. She wants to stay close (because kids), but I want to get away (because kids).

TC Bed stiffeners, but my wife refuses to buy me gun or truck parts, so I guess I'll ask her and the kids for something else.

Congrats. I'm at 14 years myself, glad we made it this far and never gave up with stuff early in life when times were hard.

 

I can't find "Child-Cancelling Headphones" anywhere. Sure would be nice sometimes.

 

Held one of these yesterday. It's just so POLITE. I like it. Would be a great accessory to my gun cabinet.

 

Kid keeps telling me he's buying me socks & shirts. I told him "I can return your Christmas gift any time bud."

 

I keep asking but i'm not holding out for much hope on this one.
