Ultimate LED Tail Lights

I know exactly how you feel. My main concern is that I'll forget to lock my tailgate and I'll come out and they will be gone. Now I'm checking my tailgate lock daily, I feel like those people who touch the door knob like 50 times before opening a door

 

Is there a comparison between your stage 2 tail light kit and ultimate tails? More for the output of the brake lights, being that the reverse and turns are the same.

 

Have a gut feeling these would out shine the S2TTK.
It is like 200 LEDs per tail light.

 

Love the lights. Never thought about if an unfortunate event such as a rear end accident or off-roading blunder resulted in breaking the taillights. I would hope nobody would actually steal them but would be naïve not to thing so. Trying to buy these MESO taillights is like chasing a leprechaun at the end of a rainbow.

 

The turn/reverse section is the same as they both use the identical Triton bulb. That’s about the end of the similarities.
The retrofits have been painted matte black throughout the inside,the rear and side reflectors have been smoked, and the brake “horseshoe” has been blacked out on the inside so it makes the led pattern more prominent. Then the custom 200LED boards mounted inside for the perfect 3 row look.

I am in talks with a major taillight manufacture to bring my deigns into a streamlined and “more available” tail light for the masses. So leprechaun might be a little easier to catch than you think

 

MESO, you are the almighty designer and probably have much better ideas in mind but I'm thinking you need to go with a solid colored red lense. Exampled in the photo below with a cboy sticker. I'm biased because it works on a red truck so well.

 

Solid red lens would not work because the bottom section needs to be clear to let the white/amber color through

 

I should have phrased that better, I am thinking red everywhere besides where the reverse/turn bucket emits. I can see how this probably drives the mold design into the impossible realm though.

 

Would the 2nd gen taillights be part of these talks too based off of your only one off design you did a while back

 

Give me a heads up before you move forward so I can sell my set before they become worth whatever the streamlined versions sell for.

I really like my DEPO Pro's but a set of MESO BroPro's with that cool horseshoe LED board would definitely make me spend some $$$

Bummer. It’s funny, I think the only thing from Meso that was delivered on time was those tails, and it’s the only thing I didn’t keep. That Sacramento Distribution Center must be terrible.

 

I recall during the V4 release, that a lot of packages arrived at Sacramento DC, and never left until way later.

Pretty much hit or miss.

 

Someone in Kentucky is coming home to new tail lights today

 

Coincidentally, mine just arrived at my distribution hub.
Won't be able to get it until tomorrow...
