Ultimate LED Tail Lights

No LED board to replace the chrome bucket? Although I suppose you need the parabolic reflector for the reverse lights to be functional (throw light).

 

Yes there is a LED board. But you need the chrome to reflect and direct the light rearward. Using LEDs ONLY won’t get you much.. that’s where engineered optics make the difference.
It’s going to be similar in concept to the 2020 OEM(LED) headlight low beams

I think it was silly of Toyota not to include LED tail lights in the SR5 models.

 

I think it’s ridiculous that Toyota doesn’t even offer a LED taillight at all for the Tacoma’s. Especially if you get a Pro and push that 50k price. Also can’t believe they still don’t come standard with LED interior lights.

 

I go batshit that LED and Amber turn signals weren’t stock, but then again that is what makes the aftermarket such a prime market.
We all have a preference, and not all agree on how we want to personalize it to our liking.
