Ultimate LED turn signals

I was so looking forward to the sequential turn signals. Finger crossed it works out. I'll keep my spot on the list.

 

Argh... Should have asked to be put up on the list regardless, when I was inquiring about sequentials, a few weeks ago...

@mesojdm, could you please put me on the list

 

I am pretty sure that nobody where I currently live would EVER buy these. Not because you didn't do an AMAZING job, but because I am now living in Texas and I am pretty sure that nobody that lives here knows what a turn signal even is so they would never buy one...

 

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yea Maryland almost got No Turn State put on their tags it's so bad here, but that's funny there.

 

I still dig the light job though! I will have to post a bumper pic somewhere soon. Maybe can sneak out of work to shoot a quick shot. hah

 

If you don't mind adding me to the list, I would appreciate it. I'd like the v'2 smoked please. Thank you!

 

Precisely why they should by them. They are smoked so you don't know they are there.

 

I'm in Texas and plan on getting some once some other parts are paid for!

 

Guess I should have specified when I said that nobody in Texas... Meant Nobody in my specific part of Texas. (Lots of college age people. Totally Clueless)

 

I don't think the confusion about the little stick hanging to the side of the steering wheel is limited to any one area or age demographic.

I grew up in OK, make a great number of roundtrips to TX. Can you say Red River Rivalry?

I now am living in FL and it is not better. Left turn from the right lane of a 4+ lane? Even that with no signal? Really? No wonder insurance rates are so high!!

Seems everyplace I have been 40% or more of drivers don't even know they have a little stick to turn on flashing lights that let other driver’s know what they intend to do.
I think it must be too modern an invention.

With all that said.. @mesojdm does some awesome work.

 

Since I have every single light upgraded, I see myself using the turn signals much more. Partly because I love how bright they are, and also there will be no excuse if another driver said they couldn't see me.

On another note.. these lights keep getting enhancements I will be moving away from the vinyl tint overlay... as I have found a better, more permanent solution; spray on tint.
It took some testing with different products but I found the perfect balance of smoke while still letting the light pass though. From here on out they will be this way.

 

Count me in for another set once the ones with tint are available!

 

I think they know they exist, they are either too lazy to use them or they don't understand that the reason they exist is to inform other drivers of what you plan to do before you do it. (Even most people that do use them use them to inform other drivers of what they did in the pas).

"Hey I just slammed on my brakes and started turning last minute... I should probably put my turn signal on once I am almost done turning that way other drivers can figure out what I did"

 

Looks great! Glad to see you are constantly experimenting with upgrades. I wonder if you will ever get through the list...........? I want on but I feel like if I wait long enough that someday they will have a beer tap or margarita tap built in.............

Do yo have a pic of the spray tint version assembled to show how dark they look and how much the tint hides the light inside when off?
