    I have those tools...it is easier to use my hand. A plastic shopping bag over the mirror and pull. Take me longer to grab my trim removal kit, pick the right ones and then put them all back than it did to just rip off the mirror.

    I too used panel removal tools which were a tremendous help in prying the covers off without them falling to the ground.
