Does these LED turn signals fit ONLY on 3rd Gen? What about 2nd Gen?

I’d still like to see the option of these as running lights tied to parking lights that would of course flash off when blinker is activated.
I know it would create wiring that needed to be sent through the door boot, but anyone getting on this?

More importantly, will they increase horsepower and fuel efficiencies? Fingers crossed... LOL

Now I know what they say about assuming. But I wanted to ask a question in regards to fitment. I'm assuming (based on another mirror marker thread i was reading) that if I have power mirror, then I should be wired up for the turn signal as well. So, assuming this, I should theoretically be able to purchase these when they are back in stock and be able to install in my SR5 with the only caveat being that I would need new mirror cap covers.

    Does this sound logical?

Would you care to elaborate. When checking OEM numbers between TRD and SR5 the mirror housings share the same part number. The only difference that I found was different part numbers for the caps which would indicate a different design. Unless you know of something from first hand experience that I may not have seen already, would be appreciated.

Early in this thread, I believe someone with a SR5 looked in his mirror and did not find the 2 small wires with the connector that plugs into the blinkers. Without the OEM connector, it would be hard to connect these blinkers to any custom wiring you would have to add.
