    Has anyone successfully added the mirror signals to the SR5 or lower models that come without them? The mirror covers for signals should be easy enough to get but does the black part under it change at all between models? Then it would just be a matter of wiring

    I had a post in this thread previously because I was thinking about doing this mod as well. Looking at the video that was posted, the base appears to be the same, the only change looks to be the wiring and the cap itself. Could you add these to the SR5? Yes, but you are also going to need to run new wires through the mirror housing, through the door and tap into a turn signal location. Or locate complete mirror assemblies, add wiring from the cab, through the door to the mirrors and still have to buy swap out the signals for the meso's. For me, it's not worth the fight.
