    I had an issue with one of mine that it didn't work as well, ended up being one of pins was pushed to one side most likely from me jamming it in. Always jamming something in :)
    Centered pin again and plugged up all working fine now. So nice with out chrome now

    Yeah the connector part of the turn signal is not the greatest design. But I just replicated how the factory had it. When inserting the connector you almost have to “feel” as you push it in. If you aren’t aligned straight it can go in sideways and bend the pin.

    I had the same issue. Pinch the connectors on the turn signal slightly so they line up with the open slots of the side mirror connector. Worked like a charm.
    Interestingly, my problem was on the driver side as well.

    Do you have the wires in the little clip on top of the bracket? Does it work if the wire is on in there, with some slack?

    Just pull from the outer corner and it'll pop right off.

    Edit: I've done it several times now going from V3's to V4's, never used the bag trick and never dropped the cover yet. Just do it carefully and you'll be fine!
