Are you sure? They use the same exact LED board, and housing so I don’t know how that can be. What I may think is happening is the viewing angle. What I mean by that is the Internal LIght strip the LEDs are not perfectly centered down the middle. So when they shine through the acrylic bar it refracts the light differently. Put your hazzards on, go out and while looking at the turn signal... move your head up and down and you will see the light beam pattern change. I really think this is what people are seeing.

I had my hazards on and was moving from side to side, definitely a bit dimmer. @mesojdm not bad mouthing your product, still quality item regardless.

So I decided to do a little light testing. It's not super scientific, but if there is a noticeable visual difference..I should be able to see it. I grabbed 5 random sets and they all had about the same outcome:

First was to do some wall shot comparisons. This gives me an idea of how the light is distributed, and what kind of pattern they are producing.
    Passenger:

    Driver:

I tried to keep the exposure the same, and as you can see both have a "hotspot" down the center but the passenger extends out just a tad further. It also seems more concentrated above the hotspot.

Then I checked the LUX(again..not super accurate but it will give me a constant comparison between the 2)

    Passenger:

    Drivers:

I tried get the light sensor at the start of the hotspot for both so it would be a similar test. Results were basically the same.

My last test will be on the truck tomorrow. I want to test the actual voltage in each mirror making sure there is no difference in drop per side....

These were one of the first things I knew I wanted when I bought my gen 3. I just won’t drive with my hazards on and nobody will ever know. Kidding, as I know meso has OCD and will likely make sure there is not an issue before I get a set on order.

Never did I think that I would see a set of these out in the wild. But to my surprise at a truck show in New Jersey this weekend in the parking lot I did.
