    Just placed my order! Can’t wait to install them! Hopefully I don’t break my mirrors when I try to remove the stock ones. Based on the video, it looks like you have to pull real hard to remove the top housing.

    Its not that bad. And honestly it’s not that you pull hard. But it’s more like a sharp yank on them. Do the bag trick though.

    Hey, @mesojdm .

    I don't know if it matters from a batch / order stanpstand, but I don't see an intensity difference side to side. I looked back at my daylight pics many pages back. It was a cloudy day, but the sun would have been in line with the shot.

    I can post a pic in darkness tomorrow morning if it helps you or anyone else?

    More like what did I miss lol. When I installed the v3's, my drivers side mirror cover kissed the driveway pavement. I saw someone post the bad trick so I used it when I installed the v4s.

    Slip a plastic shopping bag over the mirror and tie the handles together around the attachment point of the mirror. But leave the bag section loose. Then use your fingers to pull from the top edge of the mirror from out side the bag. The cover will pop off but remain in the bag. That way when it flies off the bag captures the cover.

    any small bag (re-usable cloth shopping bag), or piece of cloth will due. A pillow case would work, or you can always cover the housing with strips of blues painter tape.
