So the ones for sale now are V4? The MESO site doesn't really specify what version is available

That's what I was thinking. The listing hasn't changed & the pictures are the same. Not sure what's gonna happen for the V5's

V5 might be a while. They are redesigned from the ground up according to Meso. Dual color and sequential I believe?

I’m holding out for the V5s or by chance he releases the switchback version of the v4. Its the last thing I need to get the truck to not have amber on unless the turn signals going.

You can clearly see the difference in brightness. Install took about 10 min. Zero issues with it. Another solid product by Meso. Cant wait to see what else gets put out.

For those who had no-flash issues, I did some testing over my various LED implementations and have some guidance that may help. All of my LEDs are the high-power "JDM Astar" variety that are available on Amazon. I suspect their power consumption is similar to other high-power LEDs from other vendors.

    1. LED front and rear turn signals, stock mirror signals: Hyperflash when headlights (running lights or lowbeams) are on and normal operation otherwise.
    2. LED front and rear turn signals, stock mirror signals, 6-ohm load resistors in the rear: Normal operation.
    3. LED front and rear turn signals, Ultimate V4 mirror signals, load resistors in the rear:
    - 3a. 6-ohm load resistors:
Normal operation when headlights (running lights or lowbeams) are on, single-flash (overload condition) when headlights are off.
    - 3b. 10-ohm load resistors: Normal operation.
    - 3c. 15-ohm load resistors: Normal operation.
    - 3d. 25-ohm load resistors: Normal operation.
    4. LED front and rear turn signals, Ultimate V4 mirror signals, no load resistors in the rear: hyperflash when headlights (running lights or lowbeams) are on, normal operation when headlights are off.
    5. LED front, Stage 2 Total Tail Light rear, Ultimate V4 mirror signals, no load resistors in the rear: Normal operation.

If you are having trouble with a setup like my "Condition #3", I would recommend trying a resistor with a larger value. The common resistor size is 6-ohm, but that just pulls too much power with the other equipment. Increasing the resistance of the load resistor will lower the power dissipated by the resistor and lower the overall load on the circuit. In my testing, 10-ohm was enough to put it back into an operational range, but even a 25-ohm would do the trick. I would recommend using the highest-value resistor that you can get away with, since whatever power you dissipate with it beyond what is necessary is just wasted as heat.

Holly geez this guy ships quick ordered late last week showed up today!
Excited to get them on, but thinking I might wait and see if I get in on the puddle lights. Might limit chances to break something if I don't have to take it apart another time.
