You're pulling the reflective piece out and replacing it with a non-reflective insert. I don't have any sort of law knowledge, especially not beyond my own state, but it's possible that some states require side-facing reflective elements. So since his product removes that reflective piece, it's just a CYA move to state the "intended purpose"

Anyone have tips on how to buff out a scratch/paint on one of these turn signals? Was backing into my garage and just nicked the white plastic edging around the garage frame and it now has a permanent white blemish on it :(.

Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser with a little bit of water. If you don't have that, maybe a microfiber cloth with some water and elbow grease.

Tried the microfiber with some detailer. Was good enough to get some of the loose stuff off. But ill have to look into the magic eraser. It wouldnt scratch it more would it?

It shouldn't. It's not like a Scotch Brite pad where it's abrasive. Its more like a sponge made of soap.
I've used it directly on the paint of a car where some plasti-dip splatter got to other parts of the car. No issues for me there.

Question: Has anyone had an issue where the ULED turn signals work when the car is in accessory mode but not when the car starts up? Any fix? Maybe a bigger resistor? (addtl info I'm also running Meso's Tail lights with the resistor). Mybad if someone already asked tried looking through the 500 pages.

Unplug the resistor in the tail lights. You have double resistors(tails and now turns) overloading the circuit.
