    Can someone explain the different versions? I bought the standard black our signals a while ago (non-sequential) and am curious about the difference.

    Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
    The evolution of the Meso Ultimate Turn signals. Starting from top to bottom.
    [IMG]

    V1 and V2 are the same exceptV2 had a new led board. These were hand made, sanded, tinted and polished from OEM signals. Not quite amber with the tint on but they were also a little darker when off.

    V3 were the new Meso Custom molded version to accept the new brighter led board. V3 also has the Meso logo on the front.

    V4 Has a slightly longer and even brighter led board. Logo is on the back now and new more dense foam surround.

    Last are the Limited Edition switchback of which 25 were made. They are white DRL and bright Amber turn signals.

    Next will be his latest which will be V5 switchback white DRL and sequential turn signal.

    The DRLs and Turns are insanely bright too.
    There is a dimming function for the DRL, but for me, the difference is minimal.
    They turn quite a few heads too.

    So the running white LED lights dim down when the headlights are on? You’re saying there isn’t much of a difference comparing dimmed to fully bright?

    Nah, never go dim.
    Full power all the time, dimming Meso's lights is like sacrilege, we need as much light in these dark times.

    Serious talk though, at brightest setting at all times.
    I did this cause, if you choose to opt for the dimmed feature, then the mirror DRL are powered on ignition.
    Ignition = Bright
    Dash Illumination = Dimmed

    Since I do not want the mirror DRL on during the day (funny, cause it is Daytime Runnning Lights) and want it stealthy black.
    I instead taped off the dimmed wire trigger and tapped the bright wire to the dash illumination.
    I can turn the mirror DRL on and off with the light stalk.
    Set up now is:
    Ignition = DRL Off
    Dash Illumination = DRL Bright

    The Limited Turn Signal are not sequential.
    I'm divided on getting a V5 over my Limiteds, cause I feel sequential signals are a little ricey...
    If I don't use the sequential feature, then it wouldn't be much of an upgrade.

    If anyone is wanting to get rid of a set of V4 signals, I would be interested.

    I used the search function and can't find much info. Do these work on newer Rav 4's? I thought they had the same assembly.

    Update: I should be receiving my next batch of V4’s(smoked with standard flash) in the next week or 2. Make sure you sign up for email notifications so you don’t miss out!

    V5 update: molds are done(new internal optic) and morimoto is sending me the final prototype very soon. After that it will go pretty quick, as they are just making the internal guts and supplying them to me(I’d say early-mid June). From there, the lights are getting sealed in my own molded turn signal housings (same shell as the V4’s). It’s a joint operation between both of us, but the end result will be the slickest signals on the market guaranteed.
