What do you mean by “full output at first?”

See above. It is full output when signaled and reverse fades.

Regular sequential is the opposite, partial output at first then going to full output.

Does that makes sense?

 

Makes complete sense to me. My truck has reverse sequential so thats what I want and you've done it. Would been happy either way but damn Meso does it again

Just curious how they will install as far as wiring goes

 

Yeah, either way is really nice, just more of a preference and being an option is also a plus.

With the latest (V2) puddle harness with the V5 adapter it should be a few minutes to install both sides. Without the puddle harness I'm not sure and haven't seen an option for that for the V5's. I know the wiring for the Limited Editions but sure not if that applicable for this.

 

I think instead of ramping to full output the signal would start with all segments at full output and sequence outward fade

 

Yeah I don't have puddles. Are puddles hard to install?

 

Not too bad just takes some time. I installed mine June last year. Just prep and lay everything out, hook it up to make sure everything works before and to get familiar with the kit. Also suggest getting the switch at the same time.

 

It isn't difficult but taking door panels off and running everything does take some time. I wouldn't suggest doing it on a day you have other plans. You probably need minimum of 2-4 hours, maybe longer if you're really taking your time.

 

not hard, just time consuming. I installed mine yesterday, it took around 4 hours total including kicker tweeters, front doors and rears. Hardest part is running the cable from the door and through the boot to the cab. Also get the switch while you are at it too.

Just want to confirm if this will match the sequential flow of my 2020 OEM led headlights?

I think MESO has said it will, if not damn near close for the reverse sequential function

Yes when released the new V5 will be able to switch between regular sequential or reverse sequential. Reverse sequential is OEM for our trucks

Can someone give a brief description of the advantages of waiting on the V5's? Have gone back through a few pages and cannot find the difference, other then V4's (Not Sequential) vs V5's (Sequential). My 2020 does not have Led headlights and shouldn't need the V5's. However, I really want the blacked out and brighter turn signals. Thanks!!!!
