Ultimate LED turn signals

Less then a week of August left! Trying really hard not to get excited for fear of another delay, but I can’t wait to get a set of these V5’s. I’ve tried in the past to wire the mirror signals as amber DRL’s, but they just burn out in a few weeks. I even tried a set of the V4’s with the same results. I always run with my parking lights on, and do around 25,000 miles a year. So they’re on longer then average… Hoping the V5’s DRL lasts awhile!

 

I'm sure they will.

I won't be using the DRL. I think running DRL on side mirrors just doesn't look right. Looks like a malfunction where you're lights are stuck on. Just not normal. I don't see any other vehicles with side mirror DRL but that's just me. What others want to do doesn't bother me at all. Maybe I'll like it eventually ya never know. I just want em for the reverse sequential

 

The FJ had the DRL. I think a lot of newer full size truck have them now. Ford / GMC etc.

 

I have Meso's Limited switchback mirror turn signals, and I think the DRL feature is the most standout feature. Like no one else on the road has them, super unique. I have mine tied to the parking lights, so I can control when it comes on.

 

Sheesh I haven't noticed any. I guess I'm only looking at all the other Tacomas driving by me LOL. I better open my eyes

 

I guess if I could run white DRL with amber reverse sequential turns it might loo good with ny OEM LED heads

 

Maybe they were tow mirrors that had them?? ~ amber, but ive seen several in the past few weeks.

 

At least for the limiteds, the DRL's brightness is pretty much on part with the the OEM LED's DRLs. I think it really helps for night driving, others are more aware of the width of the truck, less people creep into my lane, and general presence on the road.

While the Limiteds are absolutely great, the reverse sequentials of the V5s are very tempting. This plus his new taillights will really complete the whole reverse sequential package.
