Yeah I opened both still can't tell which is which. I guess as soon as the headlight tap that you sent out today shows up I'll have to connect them to find out.

The sticker might have fallen off.

Oh, they are open. Try a 9v battery to the red or white? But you have to ground the turn connector to battery neg post which might be tricky reaching up in there and hard to hold it in place. Or if you open one of the mirrors, hook up the ground then do the 9v battery trick? Or a longer jumper to your 12v battery?

Yeah I do not have that sticker. Are your barcodes the same?

Ambers should have had a orange sticker on the box. But an easy way to visually tell is look at the front of the signal into the lens. If there is yellow LEDs, its WHITE. If they are ALL orange.. it's amber. Here's a pic

alligator clips and a 9v battery probably get this done. Or if you have tiny fingers and 4 or 5 hands.

Do not put the red to power and white to ground. Red is power, then black in the other plug is ground.

The way I tested mine was to pop out the old signal, then I plugged in the stock connector. Then I unplugged the yellow plug and touched the DRL to the yellow wire to give it power.

Yeah, that's a good point to drive home, the ground is one pin in the turn connector so either you have a mirror open or you have a pin or alligator clip on that terminal. It's labeled on the fancy meso connector as negative vs positive for the turn flash. I haven't played with my turn yet.

Then power to either red or white and you should see the drl function. Probably nice to not send power to both at the same time but I assume in that situation they go dim (parking light + drl) since some are feeding drl with ignition?

I would be interested to know how the controller prioritizes what signal to take. If you powered yellow, red, and white all together what would it do?

On the OEM LED headlight, priority is to Turn then DRL then Parking Light, though I'm not certain if the C uses the same LED's for the parking light dim mode as the DRL full bright mode. But for sure Turn trumps all of that. I assume this board behaves the same as well because you'd for sure be turning with drl or parking light on. But as far as disambiguating between drl and parking light, I assume the dim trigger should trump otherwise ignition on the drl would keep it full bright.

Got mine hooked up! All LEDs in the V5 reverse sequential blinkers are working on both sides. I did not hook up the DRL as I have a 2021 with the OEM LED headlights and I’m waiting for the harness. @MESO if all my reverse sequential LEDs are working does that mean all my DRL LEDs should not have an issue like a few others have had in this thread? I don’t plan on hooking up the DRLs until you release the harness and don’t want it to be too late for a warranty claim if the DRL is missing a couple LEDs. Thanks MESO for another awesome quality product!!

I do think that’s what that means. Some have all turn indicators LED’s working fine and some drl not.
You might be good. Hard to know until you hook them up

Modifications are bad and only bad people modify.
Came out great for signals, no dead LEDs at least with the turns. I unplugged the DRL connector and covered end with electrical tape and snugged the plastic nut over the taping for future use. Applied dielectric grease to and taped all active connections from yellow/blue and turn signal power supply. Taped the bunch of other connectors together too. Fitment is perfect. It was a lot less daunting than I thought. I never have done anything light/electrical to any vehicle, but by doing it, I realized it isn't that difficult and look forward to connecting the DRLs when I can get the OEM LED headlamp specific harness.

For those with the 4-way cameras (advanced tech), it looks like there is ample room in the housing for having the camera, the extra Meso V5 turn signal pattern connectors, and the puddle lights. That's a lot of action going on in a little space.

I guess it's time to order "louder" rear turns/brake lights, integral resistors are a nice ancillary benefit.

@Fatback17 I just ordered a harness from Daveeasa for the DRLs. Thanks again for the link! Daveeasa was very helpful and responded to all my questions quickly.
