Ultimate LED turn signals

did anyone was able to save the picture Meso shared on how a lit v5's should look like if it doesn't have any dead leds? i swear i saw that and can't seem to find anymore thanks in advance

I used a 9V battery.

But my dad tested his and they worked fine until the install. After they were in place, dead LED's. Maybe there's some flex going on when they're in their final install position.

(Also, are you going with TacoCat for your new project? ) I went ahead and ordered a set of whites and will be following @caribe makaira instructions so the DRL dim with the headlights. Well, that’s the plan anyway.

those with dead LEDs, do you have to send the whole set back or just the dead side?

 

Fill out the form on the website and they will send you a replacement. No need to send anything back.

Hey @MESO , any update on this? I filled out a issue request on the meso website but never heard back. As of right now, I have no DRL function on the Turn signals since I left them unplugged in fear of burning out more fuses.

Sadly, three LEDs have burned out on the replacement that I received. It was working great when installed, and yesterday while sitting in traffic, I noticed the DRL was "flickering" (I could see it happening on a wall I was sitting next to). Got out and realized that two of them were rapidly cycling off and on. By the time I got home, both of them plus one more were completely non-functional. The amber illumination for the turn signals still works fine, just the white DRLs are burned out.

I emailed MESO and asked if I need to open a new ticket, or if it's still handled under my previous warranty ticket. Fingers crossed that it's resolved quickly.

Update: Heard back from Meso the next day, and a (second) replacement has already been sent. As always, top notch customer service

Been trying with no success to reach someone about a missing order. First order fell into a USPS black hole. Austin said he would send a replacement, but still haven't received the tracking number or shipment. Order placed on 10/19. I've sent three emails back to Auston since 11/4 and DM to you with no response? Can you help?

Anyone know what’s up? Never had an issue in the past with customer support. No response to emails or PM’s.

 

I've never had to wait more than 24 hours for a response. They even sent me a free set of V5's because I put a warranty claim on one of my V4s. Austin was easy to email back and forth.

Have you tried submitting through the website again?

 

Can the DRL harness be purchased separately from Meso for the V5 switchbacks?

 

Austin got me taken care of. It’s crazy busy everywhere now. Can’t wait to get these installed now! Thanks again!
