Puddle light location. Haven't tested light direction, but they taper up slightly so should illuminate the ground well
    [IMG]
    Side profile
The LED's are inside a clear waterproof tube.

Don't mind the little blemish.. :frusty:
the bottom of the light tube sits flush with the housing. Can't even tell when it's there when the mirror is installed.

Wireless yo. I integrated the Clap on/clap off module so a quick Double clap with your hands and voila...puddle lights.
Jk. They will tie into the dome light and replicate their function

So a rigid light, a puddle light, and a stealth turn signal all in one? Where do I sign?

Radiantz Z flex in white. You will have to cut to fit.

    Gracias!

Continuing on... I decided to build my turn signal a little different. Typically I smoke the entire housing. Which is nice..but you do loose a little intensity of the light. Since this is going on my rig.. Function will be priority over form.

So..I took one of my already modded smoked signals and cut a sliver to let light out. Then, cut and heated a piece of my amber plexi to form in the inside. Finally, I took my LED strips and painted them black(then acetone off the top of the lights. Creating a REALLY blacked out look. while still letting out 100% of the light:)

Then, to carry on with my mulitcam black theme, the upper housings to match.
Some people might thing over the top..but whatever.
HOW MANY PIECES OF FLARE DO YOU HAVE!?

Side:(I'm really diggin' the amber signal look)

P.s I did some wire tracing today to find the perfect circuit for the puddle lights.

First, I tested it off the cargo light switch.
That worked but the puddle lights did not "fade in-fade out" like the dome lamps.. just ON or OFF. Also, if the rocker switch is set to anything other than "Door" it will not activate puddle lamps.
    FAIL

Second, I tried the dome supervision wire (tan on backside of ECU) it was negative trigger so figured I'd try it. Not enough power to drive LEDS.
    FAIL

Finally I traced the wiring from the overhead console and grabbed them at the A pillar. Worked perfect. There was rhe constant +12V(factory dome light fused circuit) and the negative door trigger that will fade in/out. I also wanted this circuit for the "key-sense" when you walk up close to the truck they auto on.
I feel like a damn Rolls Royce now!

Oh and here are some install pics:

    Since there are more lights and wires than the factory provided, I had to run some new ones. Piece of cake. Ran parallel with the factory;

Through the factory boot. Child's play.

Well, we all can't be Raptors CAN WE!:boink:
my buddy has one and they lock you out using the ditch lights over 10MPH.
I wish I could have built it into turn signal, but Function would have been lost.
