I'd love to spend a few weeks out there hiking around and destroying some sick BC terrain.

 

im going to make my way down to utah...and you will take me to this magical place haha

 

Nothing like breaking in the new boots.

 

sitting in a hotel room in crested butte wearing my boots too...boots are almost there, but it's snowing now in CB and i don't want my boots ending my day early!!!

 

Yeah I'm headed up for a few trips alone with the new boots. Then I should be good to go again. Will be doing plenty this month. I've been wearing them every night in my house as tight as I can get them.

 

after crested butte saturday i think they're ready for the real stuff...couldn't put in a full day in them until saturday...took a couple stops in the yurt but rode 9-2 in them and could have gone longer if i didn't have to drive back in a snow storm...

 

might have a buyer for my split!

looking at that gemini or prior year ventures....

 

Yeah I'm prolly going to have a few 1 trip up and down days and call it till they are broke in.

Yea those insanos are stiff huh? I think it took a full season to get them broken in, and 3 more seasons to make them too broken in lol.

My parents put me on a pair of xc skiis as soon as I could walk. They make some with super adjustable bindings like snow shoe bindings for little kids. Definitely helps get the balance and movements down. I bet she would have a blast

 

Yeah next year for sure I will start her skiing. Might let her play around this year we will see.

 

the level big mountain skiing has gotten too is breath taking and incredible! wow!

 

I was on skis at 2, racing at 5 and ski jumping at 6. Never too soon to start. Only fear is she grows up to be a ski bum. I still avg 100+ days a year..
