Anyone been up to Mt. Hood yet? :notsure: I've been checking Meadows and Timberline and it doesn't seem like there is very much snow. Conditions look like crap. Was going to go up this weekend but after hearing that Ski Bowl was closed, and seeing the cams on Meadows, decided to wait. Don't want to spend $100 and have a crappy time.

Was able to get a few turns in today in the back country at mt.baker. Conditions were absolutly terrible! A crappy day of boarding still isnt that bad...at least i got a good workout.

Typically it gets dumped on but so far this year it hasn't been the greatest. I'm staying hopeful though..Still a lot of snow yet to come!

Heading to Utah next month, I think we're planning on riding Brighton, Snowbird, and Solitude? How's the snow in that area?

    Nope... Killington VT haha
We've had a great start and something like 60"... The area where I crashed gets wind blown because it's right at the top before the steep so there wasn't a lot of snow. I must have just missed that stump a few times because that was my 3-4 run there... Bogus... Now I'm out for a few weeks I'm sure
The crash wasn't bad, it was the instant stop of my leg/foot/boot and the forward momentum of my body that did it haha

I set up a ski day yesterday with my son and his friends and fathers. Had the kids play hookie for the day (well worth it!) we had a great day as far as NE Pa can provide for ski conditions are concerned.
The slope ratings green, blue , black are astounding compared to the west coast skiing. A black in Pa might be a blue out west and that is a stretch in my opinion. Oh how we miss west coast skiing !!!

has anyone ever put a sticker on the board and waxed over it. I put one on the top side of my board and i would like it to stay so I was thinking a layer of wax but i'm not sure if it can handle the heat.

Any of you ski/board with a cast on your arm? What did you do to keep your hand warm/protect the cast? I broke my wrist and have a snowboarding trip in 2 weeks (not missing it) I'll just be taking it easy so no Terran park for me :(
