EHP's under you? Blow out any sidewalls yet? I have repaired countless 4FRNT sidewalls. Still like the skis though.

No issues yet, I've had a few pairs of 4FRNTs over the last few years, with this being my 4th pair. Original EHP's, VCT's, new EHP's, and CRJ's. I'm a pretty light guy but haven't had any problems. As for their park skis, that's a whole different story. I would say my first few pairs weren't quite as good but the CRJ's and EHP's I have right now seem pretty bomber so far.

I've got a reasonably large quiver too though so most of my skis manage to stay in pretty decent shape. :)

    Hey guys,

Just wanted to draw your attention to a brand new gear review site called BLISTER that I'm involved in that just launched. Check it out and spread the word. We're hoping to provide the most solid info on the best gear thats out there for skiers and boarders who want to know all they can about a particular product.

Here's a link to the site:
    http://blistergearreview.com/blister/

And a little background info from a bit ESPN did on us:
    http://sports.espn.go.com/action/freeskiing/news/story?id=6057772

    Thanks so much!

What's the snow/weather been like up there during the past few weeks? I haven't been paying much attention to the reports.

It's been pretty much shitty down in WA. I was on the east coast for the holidays and early Jan, then I rushed back to the PNW to ski all the amazing non-existant La Nina blower  I have a pass at Crystal and have only used it once so far.

I may have to get out and do some touring with epically long approaches to get to pow above 6,000 feet or wherever the eff it is now.

Anyway, here's some stoke to add to the thread:

the rain over MLK weekend screwed over Utah really bad. we have an ugly rain/ice crust underneath and the backcountry is skiing like shit except for super low angle protected. no hiking today so decided to play with the contour gps camera and see how fast my powder skis will go (75mph) and am now off to send the local ski BASE jump. Video from today....

Going to split a snowboard for a friend and install a split board kit this weekend. Should be fun tearing up a perfectly good snowboard.

Just found this thread! Good to see other two plankers ripping it up. Utah isn't getting the usual goods this year, but still pretty good. I'm a Snowbasin local so if anyone gets up there let me know. My gear this year is the K2 Kung Fujas, and I'm loving them. I'm a bit old school and have only started on shaped 2 years ago and this is my first year with any sort of rocker at all.

Last video I made of one of the last good powder days at Whistler. Been a bit of a dry spell lately.

    Watch in HD.

Edit: if it's choppy, double click on the clip and watch it in youtube. For some reason the embedded version doesn't play at full frame rate.

Sweet shots! Ya it's been much of the same up here the last couple of weeks. Nov, Dec and Early Jan were pretty darn good but it's kinda fallen apart the last couple of weeks with above average temps.

Forecast isn't looking great but it's at least getting back to normal temperature wise.

Thanks, to be honest, I only get a couple Whistler days a year. I love the hill but it just always seems to be that tiny bit more busy than Blackcomb

I know what you mean. Biggest factor for me is I drive up from Squamish so Creekside is 10minutes closer than the village or base 2.

Great thread! Just stumbled on this as well . . . Not a skier, prefer a single board strapped to my feet  Anyway, had some good snow days in Utah so far. Been trying to get a few people in the neighborhood to meet up and go for a ride. I guess Im suppose to speak of some credentials, so . . . I’m a girl  about 5'6", 28 years old, started riding when I was about 15, currently ride a 152 Arbor Push, although started out with my brother's old school Santa Cruz, had a few Burtons, but lovin' the Arbor. Taught lessons for about 5 seasons at a small town resort and now just try to get out as much as possible. Anyway, great pictures and videos!!
