Good timing, and there's more snow in the forecast!

Watch out for our spring break "crowds" though, you might have to wait a minute or two in the lift lines..

 

Today has been pretty good for sure. They opened the north face so I was able to get a couple decent runs in there before it got skied out. I'll take the spring break crowds here over the craziness of a pow day at Snowbird or Alta any day of the week. I think the longest line I waited in was ~2min, and that was only because of a group of racers that were in front of us.

 

Oh ya baby..... my buddy Matt and I grew up at Alyeska.... we grew up in Kenia, and would skip school drink beer and ski it all day. It was outrageous when they built the new lodge. Tickets spiked from 19.50 to 26.00 bucks a day. Alaska ski culture almost had a meltdown...

I broke my thumb running from ski patrol out of bounds at 17....

Crazy times, maybe the highlight of my life.

 

Just completed 7 days on the mountain in a row... First 5 at Aspen (we camp or stay in glenwood springs) , then 2 days at steamboat (we stay in craig)...


I just sold my g2 Tacoma "clutch" I got 14,600.00 for it...

I spent less then 1,200.00 dollars in one week, in the wealthiest part of Colorado, maybe America.... fuel, hotels, hamburgers, beers, candy, propane.

I made it up to Snowbasin for the first time in my life today. It has always seemed so far away with Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons so close, but I decided to try it out since I have an ikon pass this year.

A day on the mountain for Christmas. I work tomorrow and Friday... My family headed to Steamboat with the tent its warmish... I'm done rebuilding the motor on the 22re. I've been testing it. I'm going to drive it into a ten day snow cycle and drive between Utah, Aspen, and Steamboat...

91!!! I will say this.... The small cab space is amazing in winter. It takes 2 seconds to defrost that truck from frozen ice block.
