I wondered the same thing! And in a cat track to boot! Going up hill!
It was a nice warm day, and the melt might have flushed her out.

I set her off to the side, on a rotting log.

As you might or might not remember. I have two boys 11 and 13. They learned in the PNW. People in Utah or Colorado have no clue what that constant powder and yes rain is like. I miss PNW skiing. Some of the best in the US.

I joke with my kids that PNW was like an ecisketcher. Every night God, the aliens or just weather, shook up the snow, and made it all fresh again. You definitely don't have that experience in the mountain west

 

Well it's been dry for 3 weeks straight, but looks like a storm cycle is coming later this week

 

Sunday copper fun day.

 

Winterpark G lot tomorrow wintercamping through Sunday. Tele and snowboard but all are welcome.

 

This season has been dry but we did get a good storm earlier this week. Parked and came back to 6 -8 inches on the truck. Snowpack is still nowhere near where it should be

 

I'm in the wrong part of the country. It was 80 today and 85 the other day in AZ.

 

When it’s good, I’m there.
I’ve gotten 3 rope drops. And first day into the back bowl at kirkwood for the season.

Last time I strapped in to a board was messing around while we stopped on our snowmobile ride to admire some the view from here
