My gauge was waiting for me after work. No mount needed. Two thin velcro strips and I ran the wire through the adjustable steering column.

I wish I would have ordered 2 cables, I am not keen on cutting my harness to disable the ABS pins. I did find an extension on Amazon for $7 shipped, I am going to cut it up versus cutting the factory harness.

In order for this to accurately read average mpg I have to reset the fuel tank level each time I fill up correct?

Unfortunately, I was unable to buy in time due to current financial issues with divorce. So for all you keyboard warriors that think someone should be banned or whatever, some of us actually do have situations where $50 isnt available to my truck fund.

But I did get paid last night, so I went ahead and ordered one at full price to keep my promise to buy one. Excited to get it!

Is there a chance these will be able to read transmission temps?

Thanks for being nice. I'm aware of the other thread on this issue, but given the contact with UG, I wondered if they had any info if UG was working on this issue.

No tranny temp as far as I know. No idea why that's so hard. I don't pull a trailer so I'm not concerned. I think Scangauge does.

I received mine today. Just been out looking at where it should go. I still think above the mirror is a great place. I'm curious what the rest of you do. I moved it all over the truck. There is a hole on the left side of the windshield where it could live and not really interfere with the visor...just have to figure out how to put it there.

I think my earlier post was missed. Mine arrived yesterday. I have an idea where and how I want to mount it. Hopefully will have time to do it tomorrow.

Got mine today, but my original mounting idea isn't working out... Where are people mounting theirs? Post pictures if you don't mind.
