Ultra gauge mx 1 trans temp?help

so I recently got a ultra gauge mx 1 and love it I was wondering if anyone on here has found a code that makes the gauge read the tranny temp on the first gen if so please let me know and if u have any other useful info regarding ultra gauge feel free to comment

 

I am investigating this as well, turns out Ultra Gauge programming does not support trans temp gauge for gen 1 manual tacos.
Another bummer is they only support the 2.4l and the 3.0l for our year models, no 2.7l love.

That doesn't mean OBDii doesn't support trans temps for manuals, just that ultra gauge doesn't have those codes...

has anyone climbed under their truck and found any sensors leading out the transfer case or main diff?

 

I purchased the Ultra Gauge for my 13 specifically for the Trans Temp, Guess what, there web site states that it supports trans temp for the 13 model, but it does not. I purchased a Scan Gauge, and I now have trans temp.

 

Which version?
Only 1 of the 2 models supports Trans temps

 

I had called Ultra Gauge to confirm the correct gauge to buy for Trans temp and they said the MX 1.3 version will give me the Trans temp...I connected it and it does not, I called them and explained the issue, they stated that maybe my truck doesn't have the ability to read trans temp, I said BS, because the Scan Gauge will give it to me. I asked to return it, and now that's an issue...

 

Now that is interesting.
