What’s so special about these?
They are super rare and you just never see any fs.
Discontinued over 35 years ago.
There's a single one on eBay for $400 + shipping
but to find a working pair in nearly new condition
is almost unheard of.

 

Not going to lie, those are pretty awesome! I love that the lid opens and closes when you turn them on or off.

If I was still in the vintage BMW game I would totally scoop these up.
