My regular domelight is pretty poor. I was talking to a guy at the truck accessories shop and he said he had an LED replacement domelight that was 18 times brighter than stock. The only catch was: It was over $200. That's not a misprint - two hundred dollars. Sheesh. Scratch that. I wasn't looking to put the guy's kids thru college.

I went online thinking I could find something that would work. Found a "high power" 30 MM 4-LED Festoon bulb that looked interesting for $7. Received it a few days ago. I'm not sure it's really an upgrade over stock. It's just not bright enough. Construction is also flimsy.

So, has anybody installed some serious lumens in your dome light? What brands, model, website? How bright is it compared to stock?

    Inquiring minds sure wanna know.....
