"I have learned about a potential issue with the Tacoma. Specifically a 2004 Tacoma supporting the 9141 protocol is reporting that even with"force protocol" set, the ABS light flashes and apparently the ABS system is disabled. If this issue is common to all Tacomas, then this is a serious issue. Unfortunately, this would mean that the Tacoma is not strictly OBDII compliant. This is likely not an issue with later Tacomas which support the CAN protocol. Can you please check with Tacoma owners which currently have UltraGauge to see if they have seen this issue? I will hold all Tacoma orders until I hear back from you. Thank you, UltraGauge Support."

Was this issue resolved stop reading at page 3, cuz I'm gonna place an order. Good deal! You will get my pm in the next day or too. Pay days Friday!
    Thanks for you effort man!

This is probably most likely an issue for only first gens with ABS, which I believe are the higher trim 03's and 04's, and a couple other special editions, I think.

Is anybody in this group buy even affected by this?

Oh and now I feel really dumb for spending $60 for a USB OBDII scanner for my netbook...I never use the damn thing. Anybody want to buy an elmscan 5 for $30 so I can justify buying an ultragauge?

Glad to Help, Jag. My 2¢ is Easy, Thank You for YOUR Efforts,
They've Certainly had to Adapt to the "SnowBall" Effect. :goingcrazy:
Maybe We Could Vote You In as the Defacto Group Buy Organizer  (Kiddin')

    (The Following is Unconfirmed)
From What I've Gathered, You Have to Register on Their Site, for the $9 Rebate.
I Bought Two Units and Paid By PayPal, Because Their Checkout Showed No Encryption Security, On the Page You'd Enter Your Info On.
If That's the Case, When I'm Processing the Rebate,
I'll Forgo the $18 and Keep My Personal Info Secure.
I'm Not That Impressed With This Company Yet (2 more ¢)
Just a Heads Up for Others Who May Be Security Minded
Watch for the "Locked Padlock" On Your Browser's Lower Bar (Status Bar, I Think It's Called)

IF We Surpass 100 Units, I'd Hit 'em Up Again.
Don't Give Them a Figure, Just See If They'd Knock Off a Little More for the Volume & Publicity.
Even $5 Would Be Better Than Nothin' (Even Though I'd Pass Up the $18 for Security).
Tell 'em: Just the Added Publicity from TW Member Who are Also In Other Forums,
And Rave About This New UltraGauge They Have, Will Increase Sales.
Not to Mention, They Were Selling a Week Ago for $39+/-
Don't Remember What My Order # Was, Maybe 10,xxx
100 Units is a Good Sale for a New Product / New Company
Better to Make $20 Bucks on 100 Units Than $25 on 10 Units
Worth a Shot, and Can't Hurt Anything
I'm Gonna Run Out of Pennies Soon, 2¢ at a Time

    Thanks Again, Jag
