So are you saying that if you pay with paypal you cannot get the $9 rebate or you just won fool with it since it's paypal?

 

Got my tracking # and it was sent USPS.

 

Received my unit in 3 days and it works great. I also have a scan guage and personally I like the ultra fauge better. Shipping was fast and the product works great so far

I'll Take The $9 (x 2 Ordered) Loss and NOT Get the Rebates

"PayPal & Checkout" Are UNRELATED to "Registering & Rebate"

Having My Personal Info Crossing the Internet, UnEncrypted, IS RELATED, To All Of It and Is Unacceptable.

I think its more like 4.95... but yeah and after the 9 dollar rebate too. If they don't want to refund us paypal users... I will be sure to email them and handle it proficiently.

 

Was going to order one.... on the product page - shows a sale price of $59.95 but when I added one to the cart, the price went back to the regular price....

To those who have used paypal, where is the link for that? Do I have to register with the site? I'm with Cape Codder, I don't like unencrypted sites....

You Pay.....Use Site CheckOut or PayPal.
The Rebate Is a Totally Separate Process.
Generally, After Receiving a Product You Fill Out a Form and Mail It In,
Or In This Case (I Believe), Fill In The Info On the (Unsecure) UltraGauge Site
Whatever the Rebate Process Is......
It's Dependent On Purchasing the Product,
NOT How You Paid For It

I signed up on their site and was able to pay through paypal. I just logged back in and it said that my order is processing. I really think when all the info gets sent to us with our units... we will be able to get our rebates.

They want everyones name who bought one so we should be in the system if it shipped.

I think whether it was paypal or by credit card it won't matter because the rebate money will prob be sent back by check.... Most rebates are sent by check or via debit card.

 

I'm surprised that in this day and age, their payment / registering page isn't encrypted....

Any Page You Fill In Personal Info On, Is NOT Secure.
Once You've Enter The Info, Using PayPal Only Makes Your Purchase Secure.
The Info You Entered Directly On Their Site, Passes Thru Computers All Over the Internet (in packets),
Like a Big Post Card from the Caribbean, With Pics of Chicks in Thongs on One Side,
And Your Personal Information On the Other Side.
Its Out there for Anyone To Read.
And the Only People Who Would Be Interested In Reading It,
Are the One You Don't Want To.
Watch for the "Locked Padlock" on Your Browsers Status Bar,
To Make Sure a Page Is Secure and Encrypts Your Data.
