I have received and installed mine.

I never saw a shipment confirmation. However, it was in my mailbox Saturday afternoon.

The rebate form is a pain to fill out, as they want the FULL set of diagnostic hex codes generated by the unit. I found it easiest to take a picture of the diagnostic screen with my camera phone and go back inside to my desktop computer to fill out the form.

The unit is smaller than I was expecting. However the screen is very legible and probably the perfect size for some interesting custom mounting.

The Ultragage does everything I want. I had purchased an iKiwi wireless OBD transmitter to accomplish the same readings I get from the Ultragauge. However the iKiwi is $140, plus $30-$50 for software, and a dedicated iPod or iPhone to view the data. I will now be selling my iKiwi and buying a second Ultragauge.

In case anyone was wondering, below is a list of guages that the Ultra Gauge would read from my truck.

For reference I have a 2009 Tacoma AC SR5 w/ 2.7L and 4-spd AT. Gauge compatibility is NOT listed on UG's website for the 4-cyl engine, though they have info for the 6-cyl.

    • Open/Closed Loop Status
    • % Engine Load
    • Engine Coolant Temp
    • Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 1
    • Long Term Fuel Trim Bank 1
    • RPM
    • MPH
    • Timing Advance
    • Intake Air Temp
    • Mass Air Flow Sensor 1
    • Absolute Throttle Position 1 %
    • Bank 1 Oxygen Sensor 2 Voltage
    • Run time since last start
    • Distance traveled with Check Engine Light On
    • Bank 1 Wide Oxygen Sensor 1 Lambda
    • Evaporative Purge %
    • # Warm Ups since Check Engine Light Cleared
    • Distance Traveled Since Check Engine Light Cleared
    • Barometric Pressure
    • Catalytic Converter Bank 1 Sensor 1
    • Catalytic Converter Bank 1 Sensor 2
    • Battery Voltage
    • Relative Throttle Position %
    • Accelerator Pedal Position 1 %
    • Accelerator Pedal Position 2 %
    • Command Throttle Position %

    • Run Time - General

    • Fuel Used - General
    • Instantaneous Gallons
    • Fuel Level (gallons)
      • "No Fuel Sensor Found" message recieved when attempting to set "Fuel Sender Mode" to "Smart".
      • (since it cannot get info from ECU so I'd guess its calculated based upon tank size/fill-ups and distance traveled/MPG calculations)
    • Distance to Empty
    • Time to Empty
    • Average MPH (trip)
    • Average MPG (trip)
    • Fuel Used (trip)
    • Avg Gallons/Hr (trip)
    • Run Time (trip)
    • Distance (trip)
    • Oil Changed Distance (reset counter during oil change)
    • Service Distance (reset counter after service)
    • UltraGauge Internal Temp
Also, with the stock tires, the Distance Calibration mentioned in the manual may not be required. I drove 6.31 miles according to my GPS and the UG guessed I had gone 6.33 miles. If I knew it would be that close I wouldn't have bothered.

I also agree with the others who've said the unit is small yet very easy to read. The mount is also much sturdier than expected (though, again, it doesnt need to hold much weight).

Got mine yesterday and it works great. Played around with the windshield mount for a few minutes and gave up on it, the supplied velcro is a joke so I went out and bought some heavy duty stuff. Jefferson helped me out today and popped out the item holder on the lower right of the steering column, fed the wire through, and replaced the item holder. Then we fed enough wire through to allow for some movement when I need to take it off and toggle between screens. Finally, we attached the Ultragauge underneath the air level switch and that's it!!

    Pros:
-didn't have to remove much for this mounting option
-excess wire can be tucked into the item holder and behind the steering column
    -great viewing angle
    -looks clean

    Cons
-Have to remove Ultragauge to toggle between screens

Sucks that the buttons are in the back vice the sides or the front. Oh well, I'm still really happy about it.

Actually now that I think about it, since the buttons stick out in the back, I guess you could just push on the front on the side where the button you need is located and toggle that way??? Then you wouldn't have to remove it all the time. I'll try it tomorrow.

I might mount mine in the glove box or the secret spot left of the steering shaft.
I am not much for reading guages as I drive, that is the navigators job :D.

Anyone know about the 2004 Taco said issues? Is this real? Mine shipped, and should receive it sometime next week. I guess I will find out first, if no one else has. Any comments are appreciated.
