Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
Thinking about mounting mine above the rear view mirror with the hoz mount.

Mounted it so you can see most gauges on the UltraGauge. It isn't in the way of any of the OEM switches or vent controls, and I was able to tuck the wires in through the tray above the OBD II port. Looks clean. Isn't distracting.

I had mine located there ... Went out to the truck about noon and looked up after starting the truck and the UltraGuage temperature was over 100 degrees !!

It was around 60 degrees outside. When summer comes around that thing is going to be smoking hot.

I rerouted and installed mine where the 4wd switch would have been since I'm a prerunner

I used the 3M command strips in case I change my mind again LOL

I am worried about the Texas summers ruining it especially since I have it mounted on the dash

    99° is child's play. Lol

So I started navigating through the gauge menus yesterday and was a little disappointed.

It appears 60-70% of the data is a fuel related. MPG, trip, tank, etc.

I saw no gauge for transmission temp, did I miss it?

UG doesn't have a readout for transmission temp. It's the only big gripe that most Taco owners have. A similar device, the Scangauge 2, does have that function, but it's much more expensive!

I don't think there is one for trans temp or oil pressure which would be nice.
