    AWWWWW YESSSSS!

Funny thing is I received in the ELM 327 wifi/Bluetooth device today. Total pain in the ass finding a free app on the iphone that even works. After 5 minutes of playing with this thing, I know Im going to be much happier with the Ultragauge.

For the small price difference I'd go for the MX.

What is the majority of people ordering? Normal, PLUS or MX?

For the small price different I would think the MX to get all the features but for instance I am going to use this for my ford ranger so I would have to specify it for that, so the features would not be usable on my wife's car as far as trans temp...etc.

That's where I think the PLUS model would be beneficial because it's not a specific protocol for a vehicle?

    Thanks,
    -Nigel

Get either the PLUS of the MX.

I got the PLUS, but that's because I have a 1st gen so the MX wouldn't net me any extra features. Look into what protocol your year of Ranger uses and if it is one supported by MX then it's worth considering.

At the very least get the PLUS, it would be a shame to not spend the extra $4 to get the 0-30 0-60 60-0 30-0 readouts etc.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
FYI, from what I can tell the MX does not offer the performance values. It only upgrades the v1.2 to read code.

So just to confirm, you and using the horizontal mount that has the 70 degree angle on the windshield?

This is exactly the look I want as I don't want it on the bottom of the windshield but up at the top.

    Thanks much,
    -Nigel
