The UG case just snaps together. If you pry it apart you might break some of the tabs like I did but I just super glued where the tabs were broke and haven't had any problems at all. There are 5 VERY VERY tiny LEDs that have to be changed to whatever color you want. I got my buddy to do it for me since he works with small electronics. I'll ask him what type he used.

Hell no lol I threw that suction cup mount away lol. I used exhaust banding strap from Autozone. It's a long metal strip with holes drilled in the middle. I took the overhead console down and used a self tapping screw to secure one end and f'ed the other end on top if the headliner down to the rear view mirror. I used the plastic piece that holds the UG to the suction cup mount and put the metal strap between it and the UG and secured it with 3m double sidled tape and has held strong like a champ. I'll try and get a pic in a minute.

Can someone confirm that we will get the rebate if we follow directions correctly?

edit: just read instructions. Apparently you have to take a test that verifies that you have read the disclaimer. This will be fun.:brianr:

Bought mine too :) just waiting for the package, Im thinking about mounting it on my steering column if it doesnt block the MPH gauge too much, If not that then its going in the compartment in front of the gear shifter.

I mounted mine on the steering column. The only thing it blocks is the odometer. I used some pieces from the windsheld mount to install mine so I can still adjust it.

The difference is mostly the English vs. Metric with a couple of other diffs that really don't matter. Here is the webpage that shows the different things each model does:UG Classic vs. EM

Edit: I guess there is also a difference regarding trip gauges as well: UG Trip gauges
