UPDATE: I have included in the first post the code for the 2.7 4 cylinder engine.

I was given an Ultra Gauge MX 1.3 for Christmas and I was not able to find codes for the trans temps on the web for anything past 2015. I contacted Ultra Gauge and Steven was extremely helpful. On the second try, the codes worked and returned temperature values instead of errors. These codes are entered under the M gauge section.

UltraGauge has also updated their website to include these codes for 2016 and up.

The Scangauge codes listed in another thread for 3rd gens was translated by UltraGauge, but they didn't work, so UltraGauge developed the code for our 3rd gen.

@JiminMaine Here are two pics of the codes that are in my Ultra Gauge. The first is the converter temp code (Trn Con) and then the pan temp code (Trn Pan). These are working fine for me and I hope this helps.

I hope it works Jim. If it doesn't, I don't know what to tell you.

You could start a tech ticket like I did with Ultra Gauge and see if they can work it out.

I mount mine on the lower left of the windshield using the suction cup mount from UG. It is easy to see and I run the cord to the left of the vent. I don't keep mine in the truck all the time, so I haven't thought about a more permanent mount.

That's a good choice. I don't keep mine in the truck all the time so the suction cup works well for me. If I decide to keep it in all the time, using your mount and then run try to hide the cord using the door weather stripping would be a good option, as long as the cord doesn't get pinched.

I'm just gonna keep it in there. I'm going to mainly use it while I tow my camper to monitor Trans temps.. I keep my Brake controller in there hooked up to. I'm just to lazy to unhook it all the time. How hard was it to input the codes for the trans temp readings?

The codes are easy to input. They are entered under the M Gauge section of the menu. UG's website has instructions on how to do it.

Set up was easy and pretty straightforward. I cut the mount to fit where I wanted. Really happy with the turn out and the UG.20180724_122220.jpg 20180724_122244.jpg
