    That looks great Swanny. Looks like the cord tucked away nicely too.

    BTW, love the first gen through the windshield.

    Does the UG plug into the OBDII port? If so, does it prevent anything else from being plugged in or is it a pass thru?

    I ask because I'm planning on installing the SSP module next week and it too plugs into the OBDII port. I'd like to add a UG as well but that may not be possible.

    Yes. It plugs directly into the OBD port.

    Yes it does and it is not a pass through. That would be nice though if it did.

    If you could at your convenience, can you post your Transmission Temps at full operating temperature please. Thanks.

    Thanks for the responses. I did read on another forum that using a OBD splitter or similar is not a good idea. The communications can't handle two items polling for info at the same time.

    I'll look for an alternative method for reading the transmission temperature.

    I normally see about 190F when it's up to operating temp and that's in these 100+F temps we have had.

    Thanks so much for posting this! I have my UltraGuage from when I had my FJ and was bummed I couldn't use it on my 17 Tacoma. Used your numbers and it works great now.

    Cheers!

    Hey- what’s the “normal” operating temps for the tranny anyways?
    Thanks again!

    And

    @tacoma04

    Thank you for posting the tranny temp codes, works great!

    If such a gauge is present, would you or anyone else here happen to have the engine oil pressure code for UG’s?

    Glad the codes helped!

    I am not aware of a code for oil pressure using the UG.
