What gauges are you guys running on the first page? Not sure how useful the "open loop" feature is so currently I'm running 8 gauges including:

    MPH, RPM
    Inst MPG, Avg MPG
    trans temp, eng load
    battery voltage, distance to empty

Edit: Props to you Justus for all your hard work bro.

So if I get a "pre-programmed" MX1.3, does that mean it has the code (above) already in it?

Also, can I use the same UG on different cars?

Thanks for all of the leg work & information

According to previous posts someone had it working on a '15 and someone had it working on a '13. So I'm guessing it will work on your '14. Good luck!

The ultragauge CAN be used on different cars. my mx 1.3 did not come pre-installed with the tran temp gauge, but its extremely easy to enter the data and configure the gauge.

One question to those who have it working. With the current trans temp numbers posted in this thread, it seems to be missing a field. After "out format" it says "ave", do we leave that at 0? Also all those extra 0's at the end of "tdata" , do we need to clear or just leave as is?

If the UG MX1.3 shows xmissn temp and the code above works for 2014 Tacoma, then I want to buy it now? Where did you guys get yours? eBay or a better link?

I'll keep checking the site. I'll give them a call next week if I don't see the mx1.3 soon. Thx for the advice. Appreciate it.

    Upgrade not available...

Anyone have any ideas how to contact and find out if I can still send in my EM 1.2 for an upgrade?

Edit: I suppose the upgrade might still be available as I can technically still purchase it. It makes me a bit leery though because the MX 1.3 is not currently available. Would still like to contact them to confirm.

    Thanks

Received my mx1.3, plugged in values (above) for Tranny Temp & I got "error".

    I have an 05 Pre-runner SR5 Double cab automatic.

Nothing in the above mentioned which M-gauge to use, so I modified M-gauge 1 to the above directions. No programming mistakes were made. Got "Err" on the readout.

However, there is an M-gauge (5) that is labled "Tran (deg) F" that has different values & it is giving a reading. I will post those differences when I can. Is this the one I should be using? What tranny temps are "normal" under no load?
