These say 2012 to 2015 but may work for a 2007

 

6.5x12 trailer, Honda pioneer sxs, and gear. So roughly 3800 lbs

 

Those temps seem low ! Maybe I’m off on the weight I’m towing . My camper is 2848 dry . Guessing another 1000 pounds of gear ,food and what not. 33” tires .

I just brought back my trailer (3200lb loaded about 3600) from it’s summer site, was towing hard but there was a wind blowing. Even poking through a county road that only ran the TC at 178 going there, ran 214 coming back and on some large hills on the highway she ran up to 225.

 

I got a DM from @Soul Surfer asking if the Tacoma codes would work for a 5th gen 4Runner. The answer is yes. I have my UG set up for my brothers 2010 Tacoma and the same codes also read transmission temps from my moms 2016 T4R. The pics below are from my moms 4Runner. My IR temp gun reads a few degrees lower than the UG shows, The IR gun reading is with it aimed at the center of the trans pan.

No problem, the next time I do a trans pan drain and refill on the T4R I’ll put it into temp check mode and see if the temp check range matches the UG numbers. The best I can remember, the “D” indicator goes solid at 104°F indicating that the trans fluid is at the proper check temp. I’m not sure what the high end of the range is, 115°F would be my guess, not sure though.

For whatever it’s worth I’m using Valvoline Maxlife ATF in my moms 4Runner with absolutely no issues. I’ve only had it in there for about 3k miles (25k miles total on the T4R) but it’s shifting great and I plan to stay with Maxlife from here on out unless something changes. I plan to do a pan drain and fill once per year or every 10k miles, that’s overkill but it’s cheap and easy preventative maintenance.

 

Good info, I just re-coded the UG to your suggested settings and it looks like it’s a go.
I won’t have it permanently installed until my new mount arrives from UG.

Searching endlessly has led me here. I have a 2010 Toyota Fj Crusier and I have been trying to figure this ultragauge out
The model is an ultragauge Mx v1.4 with the Toyota Tacoma Can

I have been trying to get this thing setup for a number of days and this where I’m at. Everything seems to be working except the transmission of page
I have taken several screen shots, hoping members over here can
help
As you can see a couple of the page settings are screwed up, let me know which ones to change

M1 M4 and M5 are the ones I have served up I believe

All I know is in order to get my Ultragauge to read the transmission temps on my 2010 I had to use the 2012-2015 coding.
