ive been posting about this in the drain and fill thread. I get the same temps when matching to the onboard temp check. does anybody know why this PAN temp doesnt match the overflow check temp? Is the toyota temp checked elsewhere, not the pan? is the UG codes off 15 degrees?

Which model would guys recommend? The PLUS or the MX? Mainly want it so I can get a more accurate speed reading once adjusted.

I have the ultragauge on my 2015 tacoma and i have configured it to read the pan temp.

Now a friend is buying a 2024 4runner which used the same A750F transmission. Any guess if my ultra gauge would be able to read their pan temp? Was thinking if it could then I could swap it over for use in the drain and fill process.

    if you have the
1.3 or 1.4t the manual has all of the codes. Either it will be the same or you can add the custom PID for the 4runner but also just using the temp mode on the truck no need for the UG. But should be easy to add if it does not work.

Having a difficult time figuring out UG. I have a 2010 Tacoma and ordered the mx1.4 which should come pre programmed for trans temp. But I double checked the numbers for m5 and they match the pic below but still getting “error” when it tries to read. Is there something I’m missing?

I don't know how much the UG models have been updated but in 2020, I used the codes in post #681 for trans and converter on my 2010.
