Trying to get techstream to connect to my 2018 Tacoma. Using the following -
    Windows 10
    Techstream Ver 14.20.019
Mini-VCI J2534 cable (approximately 4 year old cable)

I have successfully loaded techstream. The application functions and the red light displays on my cable, but when I try to connect to vehicle I get the error message "Unable to Connect to VIM". I'm thinking it is probably the drivers. Tried running the Frimware Update Tool and it won't run. I have searched several Toyota sites and can't seem to find anything that works. Suggestions?

Never mind. I am a retarded genius and figured it out. Somehow I missed the part about having to switch the connection type in techstream to mvci. Wasted half a day on this, but saved hundreds by not having to go to the dealer to reconfigure my tpms.
