Unable to verify account in the Toyota app on my phone

    Howdy all

    A couple days ago, I started getting a notification on my Tacoma's media screen that it can't verify my account in the Toyota app on my phone, and to log out and log back in. I've tried that, and I'm still getting the message.

    I know my free year of remote access is coming to an and in about a month or so...but I can't imagine that's it. Has anyone else been seeing this? Perhaps an issue with the iPhone app and the web service that connected to the truck?

    I had the same issue yesterday. Talked to Toyota connect services, they had me delete the app from my phone and reinstall. They stayed on the phone with me to make sure it worked.

    Mine has been saying that for the last week. I just thought it was because my free trial had ended. Either that or they are trying to get in touch with me about my cars extended warranty.

    I deleted and reinstalled the app as suggested earlier. So far I haven’t gotten the message again. My subscription ended in June but this issue just came up last week.

    Same thing started on my 2021 about two weeks ago. I’m only five months into my trial. I’ll try deleting and reinstalling the app.

    I dont get a notification on the media screen, however The Toyota Connect app just seems to stop responding and wont let me go to the sign in screen, I have only had my Taco for less than 3 weeks and I think I have deleted and reinstalled the app about 3 or 4 times, and then it seems to work fine for a few days, but it is getting annoying.
